Program Design and Management - Holly
Holly O'Hare has been directly involved in Jr. and Adult sailing program management for over 35 years. A former U.S. SAILING Training Committee member (13 years) and Level 1 and 2 Instructor Trainer (15 years), she has a passion for training and program management. She served as the Program Director for Severn Sailing Association (SSA) (Annapolis, MD) and the Erie Yacht Club (Erie, PA). While living in San Diego, she served on the Jr. Committee for Mission Bay Yacht Club and member of Juniors in Boating (JIB). Holly is the founder and former Chair of the Eastport Yacht Club (Annapolis, MD) Learn-to-Boat program and an active member for over 20 years. She races Snipes out of SSA and is an involved fleet member.
Holly has helped dozens of yacht club and community programs organize and develop into profit making endeavours. She specializes in program budgets, instructor training, program management, SOPs and manuals, long range planning, fundraising, and more. If in need of help contact Holly.
Team Racing - Gavin
Gavin O’Hare is a former Head Intercollegiate Dinghy Coach at the United States Naval Academy. Gavin was past chair of U.S. SAILING Hinman Team Racing Championship and member of the U.S. Team Racing Association. He has competed in the NYYC Hinman Master's for many years. Gavin is recognized as a Team Racing expert and has authored a book entitled “Contemporary Team Racing.” Gavin is a past U.S. SAILING Level 1 Instructor and Level 2 Coach and continues his competitive sailing experience by racing small sailboats such as Snipes and Lasers. In 2002, Gavin received the U.S. SAILING Leadership Award for excellence in promoting team racing. Contact Gavin if you would like to order CTR manual or have him present at your organization.
